Can oral contraceptive pill increase blood pressure this much?

i currently take the oral contraceptive pill levlen ed... my bp has been raised for a while now (can get as high as 185/110) i have had renal artery dopplar and countless blood tests which only really showed a mild vit d deficiency (41) Im booked in for a 24 hr ambulatory bp test monday.now 2 days ago i went to my gp for a review and it was only 143/80 which i know is still slightly elevated but is really good for me... now im at work ( in a hospital) and i just had it checked it and it was 136/78... yay!!! however im day four of my period so therefore havent been taking active pills. any input would be appreciated!!
