Kind of worried....plz answer?

I just had a blood test done and everything came back normal except the mono test and my blood count...they said that I have had mono in the past but that's not my point.. ...my blood count was a bit elevated and they said that means I have some kind of infection but could it mean leukemia? Would they know if it was that or not?
