Can I be an Maintenance tech and a Hvac tech?

I'm a 19yrs old male and I'm getting prepared for technical school in the fall. I signed up for the hvac program and the property maintenance program. I was wondering if the decision I've made was a smart one. I chosen both of these programs because I love to do work like that around my house. I feel I made the right decision but I wonder if these fields will be hard to get into
