My cat dose'nt like me?

i adopted a cat in maine and now he lives at my house in CT but when i pet him he either gets up and goes somewhere else or lets me pet him for like 1 minute then goes. and also he never lay on my lap or even sits on a bed or a couch with me. why does he do this i adopted him when he was 7 monthes old now he is 2 years old he is a maine coon mix.dose any one know how to solve this problem well sometimes he lays on my bed but when i come on the bed to sit next to him he gets up and walks away.

Could my ankle be broken?

so about three week ago i was jogging on uneven ground and rolled my ankle. I stepped in a small rut and fell pretty hard. i was in the middle of nowhere in the hills so i had to jog back four miles to my car. when i got home i elevated and iced it. i was able to walk on it but had to limp and put very little weight on it. its been almost four weeks and it is still swollen. I can move it and put weight on it but it pops and the back of my foot and "sprain" area is numb. It has been numb since i fell on it. There was very little bruising. Only for a few days and it was a greenish yellow bruise. It is not as sensitive and doesn't hurt as much but it is taking much longer than i expected. the numbness and swelling is also freaking me out a little. i have not gone to the doctor because i don't have insurance. can anyone tell me if this could be broken or why i might be numb?

Where ya from buddy, laws are very different in different countries. In the USA and Canada, I believe slandering your reputation is only unlawful on a mass media outlet; though a good lawyer may make it plausible given the situation. As for the tree business...they have to legally take it down or pay for it to be taken down. You are not an expert and if you hurt yourself while trying to fix something they've done you can't do anything about it. Make it clear to them that they need to act like adults and clean up after themselves or their kids if the kids are incapable of doing so. If they refuse, you need to take action. Not much you can do about them telling you to f off on their property though. Then again, I don't know what "hate crime" is defined as where you are, so being called gay can be used against them as well, provided you have proof.

Why is elevation important for fractured ankles after surgery? Isn't it enough to keep leg straight and flat?

I recently had an ankle operation and elevation was suggested.I elevated for more than a week; the exercise was painful especially when I had to remove the leg from the elevated position down towards the floor. I decided to remove one pillow and on occasion just put the leg straight and flat whilst in bed. This practice significantly reduced the painful experience. I have been having some problems with my lower back. One of the vertebrae was injured. I am doing much better, but now my toes (mostly my left foot) burn and have a pins and needle sensation. My 1 1/2 year old cat still nurses his food?

Well, I have a 1 1/2 year old Maine Coon mix that pretty much nurses his food. He will get a piece of cat food in his mouth, put his mouth against the side of the bowl, and just suck on the cat food until he thinks it is soft enough, and of course, then he swallows it. Small, nervous male maine coon kitten?

I bought two pedigree maine coon kittens this week from a reputable breeder. They are 4 months old brother and sister, neutered. I have had them for 2 days. The female is an absolute doll- into everything and very chatty, but the male is very timid. He will let me pick him up and he will sit on my lap, but as soon as he's on the floor he will skulk off (crouched low, tail down) and hide somewhere. IF he is matted up you have no choice but to have him clipped down. It is likely that he isn't grooming himself, which is why he was matted in the first place. If you are conscientious about brushing and combing him EVERYWHERE, then once he has been clipped down once he might not need it again. Sometimes they can be clipped down without sedation, it depends on how sweet the cat is. Ask your vet or groomer if that would be possible.

What type of breeds are my cats possibly mixed with?

I have two cats, a boy and a girl. The boy is orange (red) and white (no fluffy tail) and the hair underneath him is medium length. The girl is a calico color blend with white (no fluffy tail). They are both considered American Short-hair tabbies but I think they could be mixed with other cat breeds because the male is bigger than a normal male cat for his age (a little over 1yrs). Both cats have white bibs and the bib on the male seems a little more fuller. But it is not as long and full as the Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest cats. We call him lion face, lol. The girl's face reminds us of a lynx (just a tad). His eyes are gold and circular and hers are green and more slanted. Also both cats do not have typical meows. Both more so shrill, whine...talkative. Both also aren't scared of water. I have taken both to the groomers and have gotten good results. The female cat acts like a dog too...follows you everywhere, fetches, hyper, chases her tail (so cute when she does this). The male is a little more laid back. Maybe because he is a little older idk. He's also moody. One minute he wants to be petted and the next he may bite. He is a rescue so maybe he's affected by his previous past, household? But any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated so my family and I can know how to communicate a little better with these kitties. Thanks

Ok, so i went to hawaii last week and the trip was ffine my feet were fine everything was fine. Ghost being disturbed?

What can cause severe upper abdominal pain?

Around 2pm today I was sitting in a chair and suddenly got intense,sharp upper abdominal pain. It was short of like a backwards C, starting on the left side, ending towards the lower right side. As the pain progressed, I couldn't even stand up straight, cough, take a deep breath, without it hurting and it started migrating more towards the middle/right upper. Went to an urgent care center and they were considered it may be gallblader so i was sent to the ER. Pain was 10/10, i was nauseated and in tears. Labs showed a slightly elevated WBC and neutrophils, Low creatine, and a moderate D-dimer at 0.55. After 4mg of morphine i was discharged with out any answers.

What happens to your criminal record if youve been charged with vandalism in Missouri?

I am 18 years old and I was recently given a ticket for vandalism in Missouri, there was no damage included and no defacing property, me and a friend just put saran wrap on a road and were caught but not placed under arrest. This is the first time that i have been given a ticket for anything besides a speeding ticket that i got 1.5-2years ago. I was just wondering if this goes on my criminal record, do i have to post this on job applications, and how much my fine might be? Also if this will go on my record and future applications, is there anyway to get that not to happen?

If I get land "deeded" to me by the city, then would my property taxes go up?

What can I legally do with abandoned property?

I live in Colorado. My husband and I let a good friend of mine move in with us. He lived with us for about 1.5 yrs, rent free. He never paid rent, or any money for food or anything. We all had a minor disagreement and he walked out and NEVER returned. He hasn't even come back for clothes. He left ALL his stuff here. That was 3 weeks ago. I sent him a email a week and a half ago telling him that he needed to remove his things by the Wednesday (last week) as my mother in law is moving in with us. First he asked ME to pack his things for him and leave them outside, I told him I don't have time nor the desire to pack his things and to come get them, he said he would be here Wednesday (again last week). He never showed. I need this room cleaned out ASAP. I just found out that he is now living in Texas! So I need to know what I can do with his things. Severe Bladder Infection?

Well a little background, I am 30 weeks and I went to L&D on Monday due to decreased fetal movement and I told the nurse that I was experiencing symptoms of a UTI as well. She never took a urine sample, but I had a low grade fever (99.9) and my BP was elevated (143/93) she said I was fine and sent me home. Well over the course of this week, the back pain and the burning sensation has gotten worse. I went in for my weekly NST and OB visit today and I mentioned my discomfort to the nurse and she checked my urine. My OB came in and checked my NST chart and said that I had had 3 contractions within the 20 minutes that I was being monitired and that they found blood in my urine. He prescribed me Macrobid and also told me to take some over the counter AZO. I have had the contractions all day, I am nauseous, still have the back pain and now I have diarrhea. He told me that if I wasnt feeling any better in 2-3 days to let him know as it could spread to my kidneys. Now my question to you is, how uncomfortable is uncomfortable enough to go to the ER? I am worried about pre-term labor as I am a high risk pregnancy. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone its Gracie (: i have a goregous cat named Bandy. She is a 4 year old all white Maine Coon. Shes always happy, shes super lovable, never bites, and loves attention. Pressure headache in temple and behind right eye all day?

I went to the clinic today and I have had such a bad headache behind my right eye and temples which sometimes also in my other eye but today its mostly in my right eye. Why do people ask what breed their kitten is then get so pissed when you tell them it isn't any breed?

I think it is the way the question is answered that make a difference. I have seen a few of those types of questions, and although some people get pissed over nothing, others get full out ripped to shreds. So a person made a mistake and bought a cat they thought was a specific breed. Mistakes happen, and hopefully they have learned and won't make the same mistake again. Yet I see people responding to them saying things like "You are a horrible person for buying that kitten" or "Shame on you", etc. I think it is this that makes those people defensive. I know this isn't the case for every situation, however it does happen quite frequently. Maybe some people should try to be a little bit nicer in their answers and offer advice instead of bashing the person? These are just my thoughts based on my observations!

My son injured his foot but Dr. says he is fine?

Yesterday my son injured his left foot. From my understanding (I was not home when the injury occurred) my son bent his knees to sit on the floor (looked like he was going to sit on his knees), when his knees touched the floor he started crying that his foot hurt. When I got home, I was told what happened and I looked at it. It wasn't bruised on the outside but it was swollen. I elevated the foot and put ice on his. I thought he has sprained it and figured he would be fine. About 5 hours later, he still could not walk on his foot. I took him to the hospital where they looked at his foot and did xrays. The doctor said that his foot was not swollen (but it was because I could see that it was significantly bigger than the other foot.) and his xrays were normal. They sent him home and told me to give it 2 days and if he still couldn't walk, I was to take him to see our family Doctor. Today he still cannot walk on his foot. His this just a sprain or could something really be wrong that the doctor is not seeing on the xray?

I had a liver function test done and although my ast levels went down my ast is still elevated.?

It is at 56 when normal range is between 6 and 40.I'm not a smoker or drinker I am 40 pds. overweight though with high cholesterol. I'd had pain in the liver region after I had my gallbladder removed a few months ago and although the pain was constant then it had considerably subsided but then I was put on zocor 20mg once a day for the cholesterol and I've taken it for only 3 days and the pain is back and it's constant again like before. I've had ultrasounds done which show no inflammation so the dr says it's probably a fatty liver. But a fatty liver doesn't show up on an ultrasound I know cause I've asked the dr. When I had the gallbladder removed I asked the dr who did the surgery how my liver looked and he said fine so I'm left with the nagging question again if everything looks good then why are my alt's elevated????? I am going to the dr for this by the way but hearing input never hurts. 2 year old cat has graying hair?

I have a neutered indoor tuxedo cat, breed unknown, although his vet believes he may have a bit of Maine Coon in him. Other than that I just consider him a Domestic Longhair. He will be 2 in September of this year. He is healthy, aside from a little extra weight that we are working on. However, I've noticed lately that there are several places where his black fur is turning gray, such as behind his ears and on the backs of his legs. I know that animals gray just as humans do. Ok, I have layered dark brown/black hair with a few blonde bits underneath from when I had coon-tails. Anyone have an obnoxious cat, but they love them?

Wow, where to start. I have a female tabby who is reeeeeeally inyourface. She bit my ankle once as I was walking by. Hard. For no reason. She wasn't even mad at me. It just came out of nowhere. She attacks my dachshund but the dachshund thankfully can easily put her in her place. Sometimes I hear a scream (my dog), and I look and the fight is on, but it's over pretty quick. The dog doesn't put up with much crap, lol....I have an older cat, a Maine Coon, a rescue who used to be an all outdoor cat, who could probably take the Tabby, but the older cat is sooo laid back. She pretty much just wants to be left alone. She tries to go in to the potty box, and the Tabby starts a fight. I'm here most of the time as I work from home, so thankfully can supervise 90% of the time, but sometimes I have to go out to meet clients, or once in a while I actually sleep. LAST night I woke up, and the cats are fighting, but I yelled at them, and they broke it up. My older cat has allergies, so when she's due for her meds, or I vacuum, or just so many little triggers, she starts having a sneezing attack, and it appears to irritate the Tabby, and she'll start shadowing the Maine Coon, like she's stalking her, or looking for a fight. I always told myself I would not have a mean animal, but wow, I've had my Tabby for 4 years, since she was a kitten, and I've thought of rehoming her, but she really seems to be attached to me, and follows me everywhere. The other night she sneaked out of the house, and I caught her on the front porch, and she laid down in a submissive pose, and ran back in the house. I know she would love the chance to wander outdoors, but na, not gonna happen. I live in a city, and she's always been an indoor cat, but she always makes that break for the door and freedom. It's like, she's half-feral. I swear she is. She will follow me all day long, even 'guarding' me in the bathroom, and she always plays when I get out her toys, but to hold her? Oh yeah, right. She has this little high pitched scream she does when I pick her up. She hates being held, and she only lets me pet her on her head, and when SHE wants to. How to teach cat to leave older cat alone?

My kitten is a male, extremely strong, rambunctious black cat, I swear he is half panther or something cause he is extremely strong. I also have an older, 14 year old maine coon who is very independent. My problem is, the black cat WILL NOT stop attacking (trying to play with) the older cat, who gets extremely upset and distraught when the little cat jumps on top of her and bites her. Yesterday I was doing a bootcamp class outside that was running and sprinting. Half way throught the class I was running and tripped but caught myself from falling. What cat breed is this?

Our family tabby cat is hypoallergenic, he is just a domestic short hair. My daughter has a friend that can go into anaphylactic shock being around a cat. What does elevated blood results mean?

I had me yearly checkup done with the VA a couple of days ago and they took some blood for routine testing. I received a phone call today saying my blood work came back fine but "the levels" were slightly elevated. I go back next week to have the tests redone. What does this mean? My cat is shaking when he lies down?

I have noticed a few times that my Maine Coon cross Ragdoll is shaking when he lies down, mainly at the beginning of an evening when I get home from work, can anyone help? He has done it 3 or 4 times today when laid out on his side. I thought it was purring before now but when I get close he stops shaking. Was my maine coon cat neglected?

Hi, I've owned a 4 yr old maine coon for about 3 months that we named Leo. I went to our local shelter and adopted him. What I noticed immediately was that he was very skinny (could see ribcage and spine) and had a "lion cut" at the shelter. It didn't bother me since he was very friendly and had a wonderful personality! I asked the adoption people if he was ever abused or just a runaway but they told me they had no idea since he was just surrendered to them by the owner. I was never instructed that he should have any special medical care (besides taking him to the vet in six months to get his shots b/c they apparently knew of when he had his last shots by the owner) Now that I've had him he is gaining weight and i'm letting his fur grow out....looking very normal now. I've already scheduled a vet visit in 2 weeks and going to ask them as well. I just wanted to ask on here to see what you guys think. Can I download a program to an external HD?

I have a WD 1TB external (portable) HD, it is fully formatted NTFS for Windows, USB 2.0 - basically plug & play. I have downloaded Realplayer to this HD and it works just fine as long as it is attached to my desktop. When I plug the external into another computer however, it says Realplayer isn't installed. What am I doing wrong? I figured since the computer sees it as a workable hard disk drive I could put program files on it. Do I need to install an OS? If I change the "sharing" properties to allow sharing will this help?

I wonder if you have an infection, as the neutrophils are white blood cells, and often get increased when your body is fighting an infection: as for all the other stuff elevated all relates to red blood cells in one way or another: basically i think it means for some reason you've got more red blood cells going round your body...it would be best to discuss these results with the Dr, so they can look at the overall picture, not just one set of isolated bloodwork.

Since I was 16 and started running track my menstrual cycle has been irregular. I lost my period for 4 months then when I stop running I got my period back but it was odd like very light spoting. Then my senior year I decided to try running again and I started bleeding very heavy and had to stop running. I would bleed heavily for almost 2 months. It was so heavy that I would have to change every 2 hours. I went to the doctor and was put on birth control pills to regulate it. I only took it twice because it made me sick but it was enough to get me back to normal. Two years pass and I'm in college and the same problem happens again and I go almost two months with a heavy period. I call to make an appointment with a doctor and I was advised to go to emergency. When I went to emergency and they checked my blood pressure it was elevated and had never been high before. The ER doctor ordered tests and found I was slightly anemic and gave me a month supply of birth control pills with iron and they got me back to regular for a few months. Then the problem happened again and I scheduled an appointment with a doctor. They took my blood pressure and it was much higher than the reading in the ER. The doctor ordered tests and didn't find anything wrong with me so she said lose a few pounds and see her in a month. I came back and I did lose the few pounds but my blood pressure was higher than before and she had to put me on blood pressure pills and some birth control pills to regulate my period. I decided this time to continue to take it so I wouldn't have to go through this again. Now 8 years have passed and I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and this doctor wants to take me off the pill because of my blood pressure but I'm afraid of having irregular periods as it caused severe pain and heavy bleeding. I didn't want to stop taking them until I have children. The blood pressure pills make me sick and I don't like taking them and have stopped for two months now and I feel fine.

She is one of the very few women who work. But she still cooks, cleans, looks after my little brother and works. My dad is unemployed at the moment. He doesn't do anything. He just eats, sleeps and goes to the toilet. He occasionally helps my mom. And my parents live in Australia, which is a western society. Sometimes, I wish I could teach my dad a MAJOR lesson. But how? I honestly don't understand how my mom could bear all this. My dad is not that bossy unlike the other Bangladeshi men. He does listen to my mom and he DOES what my mom tells him to do. But he just has a know it all attitude that annoys me. Well, anyway this isn't about my family. It's about my auntie and other women who go through the pain. From birth till maturity she is dependent upon her father. After that she is married off & is therefore is dependent upon her husband. And when her husband is old and retires she is dependent upon her son (if she has one). In marriages, the girl has to go live in her husband's parents house where she serves her husband & in laws, especially her mother and father in law. After that she is pressured by husband & in-laws to give birth to a son. I have seen guys go as far as divorcing their wives and marrying new ones because their ex wives have failed to give birth to a son. The women have no say in public matters and society related issues. They are are usually told to shut up because they "don't know anything". I spread the peanut butter first, and thick. It's got to be creamy peanut butter too. If I wanted a nut sandwich, I would have made a nut sandwich. Then on the other slice of bread I put one glop of jelly. You can't measure that way with jam or preserve, because the fruit destroys the glop, so if you lean that way you're on your own. But if you're using jelly, then a glop will do, dropped right in the center, and then spread as evenly as possible towards the crust. Don't worry if the middle is a little thicker, because you made a peanutbutter bowl on the other slice. Then the jelly side is flipped onto it's peanutbutter partner, and voila. Culinary genius.

hold the FN and then the volume keys on the keyboard. If nothing then go to control panel then on the upper right click view by large icons, then look for sound, then click it, then double click speakers, then click on levels, then adjust the sound to your preference. At least here you can adjust the volume for now till you get the sound icon back. If nothing here works then you somehow erased your sound cards drivers or sound card failure, or virus, or programming error or a lot more. A lot to try to explain here.

What's causing my anxiety?

Ok so first my anxiety really elevated after an event where my dad told me something terribly scary about my room and how someone was doing magic in it. Ever since then my anxiety has gone through the roof. I remember the first 2 wks I was scared of my room like I was scared of the area where the magic happened and I would ask to sleep somewhere else. I would get like anxiety attacks in my bed. I would tell my mom that something scary was there when really there was nothing and I would check constantly to see if that scary thing was there. I would have intrusive scary thoughts of that area in my room. I lost that fear but now the anxiety just sticks with me all the time. Ever since then I have not been the same.

Good scope for a Stevens?

I have a Stevens bolt action in .223. It came with an adjustable scope, and at the time i thought it was a good deal, but I found out it won't hold zero. I had zeroed it at 9x, and dialed it down to 3x today because I had to use it on a coon at about 40 feet, and it was a bad kill. The rounds hit the coon everywhere but where I was aiming. $hit, I just eye-balled down the barrel for the 4th shot-which finally finished it. So this doesn't happen again, I want to put a better scope on; one I know is going to hold zero. Since the rifle and scope were only about $300, I don't want to put a ton of money in it, but I want to know it's going to hit where I aim. Anybody have any ideas?

Ripped Toenail?...When will it grow back?

Back in March my toenail busted. It was pretty gruesome and ugly. There was dried blood on it and everything. I put ice and elevated it to make the swelling go down. We recently moved our family 1200 miles and our elderly Maine coon has taken to peeing on the carpet in two places in the house. I'm working on addressing the peeing problem (which is difficult with older cats), and in the meantime I need a product that does a good job removing the urine stains and odor. I've been using Woolite Pet Oxygen and it removes the stain but doesn't completely take out the odor. The cat pee smell is lingering in the house so I have to smell that first thing when I walk in the door after working a 12 hour shift, and it's driving me insane. Does anyone know of a product that completely and permanently removes cat urine stains and odor?

My fiance and I moved into a 2 family house 9 months ago. We live upstairs and a young man lives downstairs. We never had any problems up until 2 months ago. The guy downstairs had his "ex-girlfriend" move in that had just gotten out of jail so she had no where else to go. Before she moved in he also had another guy living their undercover that was not on the lease (but he kept a low profile and was no probelm). Also, we have a dog that we had to sign a contract for and pay a pet fee for every month. He has a huge dog and a cat living their without permission and now this girl. I dont care as long as they arent causing problems. But ever since he had this girl move in who isnt on the lease she has been telling my finace and I what she does and doesnt want us to do with our apartment. Telling us to keep our dog on a leash (he's a 10 lb. chihuahua) and not put our cigarte butts in front of OUR door. She mouths off comments to us every time we are outside. She has her dog out all day and we can't even use our yard. They smoke pot in their garage every night and have all their friends over every night drinking and standing around in the driveway till all hours of the night. We have never said anything to our land lord. We just moved to the area from hours away and dont know anyone here. But, this past weekend I had my sister and brother in law up to visit and I could tell the neigbors downstairs were pissed that I had visitors. They brought their two golden retreivers along and my bro in law was out on the lawn with his dog on a leash taking her to go poddy and someone downstairs told him to get off of the property before the dog downstairs bites his dog..I confronted the guy downstairs about EVERYTHING that has been going on since this girl moved in (bc it is her dog and cat) and he said that he would talk to her. Well, nothing happend and it continued. My finace callled the landlord and the landlord said that she is not on the lease there and that she is not allowed there and he doesnt want her living there. However, she wont leave and sits down on her porch and talks s*** all day long with her friends. We cant use the lawn and everytime we go outside she stares us down. My Fiance drives truck so I am here a lot alone and I hate it. They found out that we called the land lord and he came to my door and she came out and starting screaming at me out in the front yard at the top of her lungs. I just went in and said "i'm done" . My question after all this is what can I do? It's obvious the landlord isnt going to kick her out but she is not on the lease and I cant stand to live here with her anymore, but we are building a house and givinig our notice in 3 months and we are not going to move to another place for three months only....

NEED A CAT PLEASE HELP?

I really want a cat and I was wondering what kind i should get. I am willing to do lots of research if necessary. So i want a really playful cat that wont be boring and lazy and just sit around. I want it to be really affectionate and kiss me and purr a lot ya know? I would also like it if it was good with being picked up and handled because i have little brothers and sisters that will probably be doing that. I also have some allergies but its not that big of a deal. I did some research and i have absolutely fallen in love with the maine coon, but they seem pretty expensive and hard to find. I have also been looking into persian cats. Well i know its asking a lot but if you are a cat person and you know what kind of kitten would be great for me please answer!! thanks a lot!:))

27 weeks and measuring 32 weeks !?

So im 27 weeks and im measuring 32 weeks . At my last OB appt i was 24 weeks and measuring 25/26 weeks . Whats the chance that i will get induced early ? And when the doctors induce you early , is it always a c section ? My bestfriend just got a c section and im TERRIFIED to get one after hearing and seeing what shes told me . Also if i do get induced early at how many weeks do you think it will be ? i will be 28 weeks tomorrow. Also at the last 3 appts my blood pressure has been 140/80 borderline high , and the doctors did a blood test and a 24 hour urine sample and the results came back and it said there was no reason for my blood pressure to be high . I failed the 1 hour glucose test my blood sugar levels were elevated and i have to take the 3 hour test tomorrow . Has this happened to anyone else ? Please answer all the questions .

What is th US going to do to stop the drug smugglers in Mexico?

Corruption is now more and more widespread over the borders in the US. One town just over the border of Mexico close to El Pa so has one of the highest homicide rates in the world. There are gun shops all along the borders in US but only ONE gun shop in the whole country of Mexico selling nothing over a 38. The US is supplying guns to the smugglers. The FBI has unknowingly trained drug smugglers who double up as Mexican police. Something has to be done. I would not visit Mexico even Cam coon. Mexico is dangerous and many innocent people including kids are killed daily and the drug cartels and police appear to often be the same people. The violence has already come to the US and our police have been murdered. It seems hopeless with all the drug abusers and users who fund these people.

Tell your mother that you have been responsible every day, and ask her to really think about it this time, and that you will do all the work of the cat (Litter, food, water, ect.). For the next few days, do all your work, and maybe a little more. Then talk to your mom again. Ask her if she was thinking about it and ask her what she thought. You could make a plan to go to the animal shelter sometime and, when you talk to your mother, have the trip all planned out.

Yes it will go down in time, I have had some serious bsd ankle sprains. I play a lot of sports and have hurt everything on me at some point or another. The swelling and stiffness will go away in time. Hang Tough.

How to help my swollen foot?

Earlier today I accidentally dropped a 20 pounds metal "thing" (I don't even know how to describe it) on my foot. I'm a tall but petite girl so it was heavy for me. At first it was just bleeding a lot and it hurt but it wasn't unbearable. I had a concert to go to tonight so I decided to limp through the pain and go anyway. Well by the end of it I couldn't wait to get back to the car. When I got home my foot hurt so bad I couldn't even put it down. It's swollen and black and blue. I have a really busy week ahead starting tomorrow. Ive never had an injury like this happen before so I don't know what to do! Can it possibly feel better soon? Should I go to the doctor? (which I would rather not do if it could heal on it's own) Any advice is welcome! I am going to elevate it for the night though... :/

What breed do you think my cat is?

You can tell that shes a main coon or maine coon mix by the characteristic "M" on her forehead , she also looks like a little Calico tabby mix :) Very pretty cat . Is she over 20 pounds ? We had a Maine coon that was 35 and he was found as a stray . I may also add we Shaved him down to look like a lion and it was the cutetes thing ever and he loved it ! We did it in the summer .

What would be a good way to tire my dog out?

My brother has a black and tan coonhound hos a nine month old female. She is terribly destructive! She eats shoes. I've already had two pairs of flip-flops in two weeks. One only lasted two days. My whole family has had it up to our necks. But my brother is obsessed with the dog. He won't even punish her. She ruined my football and my sisters volleyball. She chews anything she can get her mouth on. She jumps on people, plays really rough with the other dog, so ruff the other super motherly dog even snaps at her, she bites playfully but very hard on peoples arms and hands, and if you run she'll tackle you. If you leave the garage door open she will go in and crap. There aren't very many coon around here so it's hard for us to try her on that. She's pretty small for her age and size. She also jumps on the truck and scratches it. My dad doesn't want to spay her since she's from superb lines and he knows quite a few people who would want pups if we breed her in a few years. I don't know what to do. Ive done a bit of obedience training with her. She knows how to sit, lay down, and is ok at stay. She's an outdoor dog and runs around alot.

I cant delete a folder on my computer?

There's a folder thats driving me nuts, it appeared in my D: disk about half hour ago and I cant delete it despite my many efforts. I have changed the ownership of it to myself and given myself full control etc through properties despite me being administrator and the only user on the computer. Question for ALL Maine Coon lovers: what kind of trills do your cats make?

Two of my current four cats trill, chirrup, squeak, even cackle on occasion, and neither of them are full Maine Coons, one is just a DSH ginger tabby. The most common noise he makes is a broken gargling, cackling noise. The other one may be a partial Maine Coon, according to his body build, and he sticks solely to trills, chirrups, and even some false-meows (He opens his mouth as if to meow, but lets no sound escape. It's a trick he picked up from our only current girl, who learned that it meant she sounded 'pathetic' if she were begging for food.) The last of our current four here has a very rough, deep, and ridiculously loud meow. He honestly sounds like he's a heavy smoker, although he has never been in a smoker's house in his life that we know of.

I can't get youtube's free mp3 converter to work?

I can convert the songs and then they download to windows media player but when I try to burn them on to a cd it wont let me. Some off the songs say the file is missing media usage rights (it's in the properties) is that problem?. What is the definition of God?

So I've been reading through R&S section and after seeing numerous quarrels, statements, etc., I've got really confused at some point. The whole bunch looks to me like a group of impatient people who can't agree how they will call something. Example: "God created people" VS "Evolution created people". Lots of words are said about this but I really wonder why people care so much about what set of letters will describe the process/phenomena that resulted in us being created? After some further thinking, I realized that I lack the actual definition of God. So the question is: what is God, how do you define God? What set of properties or whatever I need to look for to clearly tell - this is God and this is not God?

Why can't I re-add the volume icon to the notification area of my taskbar?

I updated iTunes earlier today, and had to restart my computer, and when I did the taskbar changed. I'm fine with all of the changes, except it removed the volume icon from the notification area, you know down by where the clock and battery icon are. I know how to right click, properties, blah blah blah, but when I see the box to check that says "volume", it's lightened, like how things are when it's not an option to select them. I don't understand why I can't add it back or why it removed it in the first place. Any help here? I'm running with windows vista basic.

Homeless kittens please help?

I felt bad when I read your story and read that the smallest cat was run over. (Maybe it was an accident, not intentional.) Honestly, if I were u I would adopt them. I had lived for about 15 years on the 11 th and 14th floor of a building that had a very small terrace. When I wanted to go out on the terrace I would close the living room door so they couldn't come into the room with the terrace. You just need to be careful. You sound like a caring and thoughtful person and would make an excellent cat owner. : ) BTW just because they look totally different, doesn't mean they aren't from the same litter (it just mean that they have different fathers, cats mate several times when they are in heat, sometimes with different males. Or should I say the different males mate with them. )The cats both already get along, they already trust you and u already love and care for them. If u have any questions contact me. BTW if u really don't want to adopt them, call different no-kill animal shelters. BTW I also lived for 5 years in a 4th floor walk up.

What can I do to make him move?

I dont want to just come out and say get out now! He is living in my shed/mini house without mine or my wifes permission. Our landlord (a friend) said he could because the sheds are her property. Well we are handling that situation by talking to the landlord. We told her it wasnt ok but she isnt going to make him leave. So what can my wife and I do to make him want to move. Are there things we can do to make him so sick of us he wants to get out? My wife is already blasting rap music (which she hates, but she know so does he) into the night but not loud enough to bother the neighbors. Is there anything else like this that we can do.
